Brass Monkey and The Anchor

Went Tuesday and last night to the Brass Monkey Bar. It's on 55 Little W. 12th. It's definitely not the usual hip lounge scene, which is why I like it.. It's a cute pub with really cheap drinks. The food was decent, and not expensive (14 for a salmon dish), and I love that the place feels like it's been there for a long time - kind of hidden at the end of the street.


Last night was also "The Anchor"

at 310 Spring St.

I think the place has potential as a cool place. It was just too early and the weather was horrible so it was dead. Negative - my cosmo was horrible.
